Talking about water, watersheds and planning means serving the hurried public, the elected official looking for a territorial angle, and the technician who needs the right resource. The SMEAG needed a portal that holds all three without diluting - clear, accessible, and above all sustainable for teams day to day.

The challenge
The classic institutional risk: comprehensive yet unreadable, or polished yet frozen. We needed a content architecture that guides without talking down, and templates teams can publish and refresh without a technical chain for every update.
The response
Functional and editorial scoping to decide what earns a page, what earns a journey, what stays a resource. WordPress for autonomy, page patterns and paths built for content reuse, bespoke development with SEO and accessibility baked in - because a public service should be findable and usable for as many people as possible.
What changed
“La Garonne commence ici” becomes a credible front door: the basin, missions, ongoing work - and a reason to return when information moves, on a technical base ready to match editorial pace.
